Slow Flow Yoga: A 40-Minute Journey of Mindful Movement and Breath
This 40-minute Slow Flow class offers a grounding and intentional practice designed to cultivate balance, flexibility, and deep inner awareness. Moving with breath and mindfulness, this class weaves together gentle, flowing sequences with longer holds to encourage presence, ease, and alignment.
What to Expect:
• Grounding & Centering (5 minutes): Begin with breathwork and intention-setting to quiet the mind and anchor into the present moment.
• Gentle Warm-Up (5 minutes): Ease into movement with slow spinal waves, gentle stretches, and circular motions to awaken the body.
• Flowing Sequences (20 minutes):
• Seamlessly transition between poses with breath-guided movement.
• Emphasis on fluidity, strength, and mobility, allowing space to explore alignment and sensation.
• Poses may include low lunges, heart openers, and gentle twists.
• Restorative Integration (5 minutes): Wind down with soothing postures, such as forward folds, supported backbends, and hip openers to release tension.
• Savasana & Closing (5 minutes): Settle into deep stillness, allowing the body to absorb the practice and the mind to find peaceful clarity.
